Axel Disasi was shown a straight red card in the 34th minute for his challenge against Ipswich Town. The referee made the decision on the pitch. As with all direct red cards in the Premier League, the decision was automatically checked by VAR. The red card was not overturned and play continued with Crystal Palace down to 10 men.
